Easy House Cleaning Tips for Mothers
Children, family, phone calls, spouses, careers, mail, shopping, and then of course cleaning, how can you fit it all in a days work of a mother. To kick it off children should be your first priority, if they are fed and happy then you are an awesome mother. You should be playing games with them, reading to them, and teaching age appropriate material, back to house cleaning tips here are several tips I learned from my mother:
1.Assign one room to each day of the week. If you have extra rooms you can decide if they need cleaned on a weekly or biweekly basis. You may need to add a smaller room to a day of the week that you have the extra time to clean.
2. Put all your cleaning supplies (towels, broom, mop, mop bucket, and cleaning agents) in one place away from you’re your child’s reach. A fantastic place to put all materials is in the garage or in a cabinet above the washer and dryer..
3. Try to use homemade Green cleaning supplies, ounce by ounce they are cheaper and healthier to use. There are many websites out there that help you make your own cleaning supplies, type in homemade green cleaning supplies. Here is one you can make at home:
WINDOW CLEANER
1/4-1/2 teaspoon liquid detergent
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups water
Spray bottle
4. You need to put aluminum foil on the bottom of your oven to keep it clean. Once it becomes dirty just pull it out and put clean foil in, what an awesome idea and it saves on the back breaking job.
5. “10 minute clean”, set the timer and have everyone in the house clean certain parts of the house and when the timer goes off, your finished for the day. This technique is great for the days that there is no time to clean and you only have a few minutes, and the children love it and they can’t wait until the next time.
6. One very important cleaning tip is to put everything in its place. This technique will help you bypass the mounds of clutter that could be happen in your life.
Mothers are always busy and we always put others first, so you need to take time for yourself daily, whether it is 10-20 minutes closing your eyes and dreaming about the beach or going out with friends to dinner and a movie. As a mother you need to take time for yourself to be productive for your family.
There’s lots of simple cheap and harmless chemicals, such as sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and washing soda which have rather gone out of fashion but which are really excellent cleaners. Even salt can be used for cleaning!
That’s a good tip to use aluminium foil to save work cleaning the oven. Even better, use recycled aluminium foil as it’s an energy-intensive product to make.
Old newspapers make the best window cleaners - just add a dash of vinegar to a bucket of clean water.
